I wanted to suggest that the owners of animals be able to understand what people are saying to their animals.
Maybe an echo could be given with what the person says to the pet or the owner could understand only animal speak that is spoken to their pet?
My reasoning is that some characters can speak animal. So when a character speaks to an animal, it would be nice if the owner could order the pet to respond accordingly.
I can imagine this might be difficult to code. Just a suggestion.

Well... the owner should know the language of the animal they have... and the more they comunicate with said animal... your language and bond with that animal will grow... so will your skill when others are talking to your animal... you can have your animal speak... although I am not sure if it is frouned upon when you make a animal speak

I think what he actually meant was having the player understand even if the character does not - so if someone says "Good doggy, why don't you sit down?" or something they can then order it to sit, as obviously the animal would know what had been said.

Oh! I SEE... that makes a bit more sence.... good idea...But... i don't think you can have that happen code wise...
You can RP it that your animal won't obay anyone but you... seeing as that is what it is supposed to be anyways
