As you gather round the fire side, lend your ears to an old man and let him bend you a yarn about the Darkman. A sage old codger, said to be coming to the taverns around the city of wonders. It is said that those who know the words of the old way and bring a gift will find advice to change their lives. A pauper becomes a prince in just three words spake. Let his coming be told of, the Darkman approaches from down yonder.
For those who find the sage, there will be a chance at rare and sought after knowledge such as brewing or scribing. Bring a gift and your wits.

A goblin, a trickster, a warrior? A nameless terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. A most feared being in all the cosmos. Nothing could stop, hold, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.

Let's say a fighter stumbles upon the old sage. What happens then?
"There is nothing more invigorating than challenging the elements. The feel of wind and spray on one's face and the deck pitching beneath one's feet is the greatest feeling in the world."
And cats. I love cats.

I'd say said fighter clearly read what the rewards may be and takes that risk if he chooses to go anyhow.. :)

The Darkman has departed, good work to all those who managed the speed and luck to find him.

Thanks for the event! It was a little silly and ultimately really quite fun. Looking forward to the next one.

Indeed! Thank you! I appreciated it even if I didn't benefit. (The answer was something Lylena -hates-!

)

Thank you, very much. I really enjoyed the style of this event, a bit of friendly, non-hostile competition. Very fun indeed

Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.
Spelling is not necessarily correct

He cometh again to the smaller taverns around the Realms. Bring wit and offering for a chance at rare knowledge.

The Darkman is now wandering the faraway and forgotten inns and taverns of the realms to teach things rare and elusive to the wise and witty.
