I'm proposing a modification to the spell Restoration.

The price just to cast restoration is enormously high. Either make the component for it last more than two casts or reduce the cost of it. I just completely broke my bank at failing completely to restore more than half a level.

And after casting restoration 8 times, I got half a level back. I think it's broken, too.

I think it also depends on how soon you cast it and your skill in the spell yourself. In the past I've seen it restore a level after one or two castings. Given though, that it was immediately cast after the lass of that level.

My skilllevel is either apprentice or journeyman and I cast it 7 or 8 game hours later, when the shops opened. The first cast restored the initial half-level; all the following casts did nothing.
