Re: Mob that copies books?

What about having the book work like a noteboard? Meaning you can post notes to it and remove them and anyone else that has the same noteboard can see the post or 'book' entry? Make the notes non removable and limit the size of the board.

I still consider it to be the best live action Street Fighter film ever made.

You did not steal it! It is simply universal and enduring enough to randomly enter the thoughts of man.

Re: Advertise or Die 3.0

Hey fellows, just remember that you it shouldn't broadcast/spoil sensitive quests like undermountain encounters over the internet. I enjoy seeing the rp as much as the next person but we don't want to put up guides for sensitive areas that could be abused. It's fine to advertise the mud in all, just...

Re: Fashion Police

I'm in complete agreement with Larethiel there. Though there is a way to code gowns and dresses to work like hooded cloaks, meaning you put one part on, then the code let's you pull down another part or wear another part on your body. Ie: worn on body: A striped gown of gossamer function pullhem pla...

Re: Some Newbie Area Help

I'm tempted to say that we could reuse the previous version of the new player tutorial area by giving players the option to choose between the two with the old area being more straightforward but with lesser rewards and the new current one being more challenging with greater rewards.

Re: Sianghams

Another idea would be to increase the variety of rare exotic weapons that pop in an rmi situation. That way we could increase the demand for training specific exotic weapon feats.

Re: Sianghams

As someone that has never received either, I have to say that the random reward system would probably be better served by a reduction in wands and potions than cutting out exotic weapons entirely.

Anything you send through the mail ends up in a storage room for posts, and can be acquired by admins or imms. I know that boxes are flagged with who sent them through invisible code and I assume the same for letters, though it might still be a good idea to sign them ic.

Mele has been a fixture in the game for over a decade and has worked very hard to manage the playerbase and various other systems. She's provided dynamic roleplay and supported and expanded services that could not otherwise exist without proper stewardship. I wish her all the best and hope to see he...

I've never noticed anything in the area that would denote that the mobiles depicted were not paid wages for working there. We could post a sign that the bath house does not employ slaves though.

Re: Brew!

What people are not taking into account is that up until late 2004 you could brew any spell into a potion as was possible in version 2.5 of d&d. The change to 3.0 and 3.5 resulted in the curbing of this to below lv 4. The potions that you see with higher level spells are remnants of the older code l...

Hrm, took the quiz again and got this:

Congratulations! You are a Hamurai, a samurai who wears a suit of armour made out of meat. Mostly ham, but also steaks, sausages, and bacon strips.
