Every major power is going to receive prayers from a broad spectrum of alignments. That's why they're major powers. Excepting perhaps Mystra, who I'd guess derives her power from the whole conrolling the weave bit, since I doubt every weaver and peasant prays to her even a little. On the other hand,...

Would you want to have a second else with the "mpechoat $n A loud thud of echoes through ..." So that if either condition fails they get that echo? Right now they only get it if they fail the guild check, and get no echo at all if they fail the object check, correct?

Interesting idea, but would probably be better implemented as an item, such as a war horn or the like. That way they could be handed out for rps by an orc warboss, and just better controlled in general, not to mention being easier to make than new code.

Yes, many people don't know the reams of info on FR, but if you're going to play a priest, you should do some research on the god you want to follow. There's enough resources on the net that this is not unduly taxing. Moreover, in the course of being quested to follow, it should be the case that the...

I guess that depends on how you define a second class citizen. It was true through every level of society that males inherited the land, made the laws, fought the wars, and got the education. It was not that long ago that women in these United States could not vote. If being a second class citizen m...

It seems to me that FR subscribes to a general landmass scheme that is quite similar to the real world. The 'European' section is in the northwest, the 'oriental' in the east. Don't really know enough about Halrua to compare, but if its like southeast asia or india, there ya go, and chult is perhaps...

I imagine this is also a nightmare to code, but I've seen on some other muds where the more of a given mob you kill, the less xp you get for it, eventually dwindling to nothing. This would reduce the 'xp farm' nature of some areas, and require people to vary their haunts a bit more. Another tactic i...

Perhaps the last line of my first paragraph was unclear. It should be taken as 'Naturally, the above pc cannot engage in melee either.' As for size, in the outdoors that has nothing to do with it. The pc can simply fly higher than the giant can reach. However, IF the giant is in a room sized for him...

I'm not so sure fly should really grant an AC bonus. You're not moving like a speeding bullet. If memory serves, a pc on the ground can run faster than you can fly. However, I think it might be interesting for the spell to give you the option to rise above the battle so that you cannot be engaged in...

Well, except that most animals would not beat someone to unconsciousness. They either go for the kill or run.
Now, making them nofight, noassist, wimpy etc, that is good I think. Depending on the pet.
